Notes/What I learned from Udemy course.
I would say that what I have gotten most out of the Udemy course was the more technical aspect of comping and improvising. I was able to first get a refresher on all of the scales and chords, some of which I had been playing wrong for a while (E.G diminished and dominant). After that I was taught which scales work well over what chords, which went into some theory. I would then either practice over a backing track on youtube, logic pro, etc. I will try to continue using Udemy when I need refreshers, especially on chords.
